Announcing My New Book: The Lord of the Presence - Volume 1

I am happy to announce that on Thanksgiving week my book, The Lord of the Presence - Volume 1 is now released on Amazon as a paperback and kindle e-book!

If you have been following my Substack account (my blog and newsletter you are reading) since 2023 or longer you know that I wrote a daily devotional called The Presence. In fact, its all in my archive on here as well. Throughout the process of writing The Presence, I came to the realization that it would way day be a book. Little did I know it would be long enough to become a 4 book series. The Presence Series will be released as:

• Volume 1: The Lord of the Presence - January-March

• Volume 2: The Power of the Presence - April-June

• Volume 3: The Pursuit of the Presence - July-September

• Volume 4: The Wonder of the Presence - October-December

The Lord of the Presence - Volume 1 begins with an overview of the entire series by including foundational truths for what the Presence really is as well as topics like thanksgiving, worship and encounters with God. Volume 1 then goes on to cover the names and nature of God. The Scriptural truth of the Trinity and the Persons of the Father and the Son (the Son continues in Volume 2 as well) are covered in this book.

Each day takes about 2-3 minutes to read. Each entry starts with a Scripture, a brief story or thought and then the Scripture is unpacked for how it relates to us encountering Jesus’ presence daily. Each day’s reading concludes with a prayer.

The artwork for the cover was created by the artist Mike Lewis, also known as “the Jesus Painter.” Jason Gibbons did the rest of the cover and jacket design. Carolyn Rice did my editing and layout. My wife and family prayed for me and supported me all along. I am so grateful for how beautifully they created this book.
